After reconsideration by the Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission, the Pennsylvania Fair Sire Stakes Championships will be held at the Meadows racetrack from October 6 through 10, as originally scheduled.
"Upon further reflection," said director of Harness Racing Anton J. Leppler, "it was decided that holding these finals at the Meadows will be in the best interest of the Pennsylvania fair horsemen, which as always is the Commission's paramount concern."
The pari-mutuel Sire Stakes Championships and consolations for two-year-olds have been moved to Wednesday, September 24 at Chester Downs.
The pari-mutuel three-year-old events will take place as originally scheduled on Sunday, September 7 at Chester.
