A group of notable horses qualified this morning during the Friday session at Mohawk racetrack in Campbellville, ON.

After five-year-old Million To One mare Mo Cushla A took the first dash by a neck in 1:55.3, it was expected that the $4 million earner Mr Muscleman would be taking part in Race 2.

Mr Muscleman was a judges' scratch from the race, which saw four-year-old chestnut gelding Macho Lindy trot to a half-length victory in 1:59.4.

The impressive two-year-old Real Artist filly Ginger And Fred strutted her stuff in Race 3, pacing to a 13-length victory in 1:53.4. Beyonce Blue Chip, who was putting in her first charted line since July 17, finished fifth.

The hard-hitting two-year-old No Pan Intended gelding Nebupanezzar came first-up from third in Race 4, eventually posting a one and three-quarter-length victory in 1:54.1. Champlain Stakes winner Break The News finished fourth in the dash.

Two-year-old Yankee Glide filly Raising Rachel toyed with her competition in the first half of Race 5 and eventually motored to an 11 and a quarter-length victory in 1:59.3. The John Kopas-trained filly, who is seven for eight lifetime, took the wire-to-wire route.

Illusionsndreams (1:57.2), Ndizani A (1:55.1), Lindy For Life (1:59.2) and Shipps Foxylady (1:58.1) captured the final four races on the card.
