Trainer Earl Fram had a spectacular Saturday afternoon sending five winners postward on the 12-race card at Exhibition Park Raceway.
The resident of Saint John, New Brunswick had his first win in Race 2 when Saulsbrook Danny and pilot Gord Hennessey prevailed (2:06.2). Gilles Barrieau sat in the bike for wins with R Es Andrew in Race 5 (2:03.4) and Island Eagle in Race 11 (2:04.2) while Todd Trites engineered a pair of winning trips for Fram with Dia Harlaka in Race 7 (2:05.1) and Dusty Lane Oscar in Race 10 (2:05.3).
Trites and Barrieau both visited the winner's circle a total of four times during the day.
Fram is in the midst of a his best season with 67 wins so far. In his career, he has sent 400 winner's postward earning him over $700,000 in purses.
