Davies Scores First Lifetime Win

Nineteen-year-old Chris Davies made his pari-mutuel driving debut today at Exhibition Park Raceway in New Brunswick and he didn't waste much time in getting his picture taken in the winner's circle.

After a second-place finish in his first drive of the day, Davies came back in the card's finale to guide Birdton Bert to a one-length victory in 2:01.1.

Davies first got behind the wheel in April, guiding Jigtime Silencer to a qualifying win.
