Kawartha Downs will host a memorial night on Friday, Sept. 6 in remembrance of horsepeople that have contributed to the local harness racing community.
The Fraserville, Ont. track will honour Dave “Garney” Gibson, David Ahern, Guy & Bobby Larush, Ray & Gerald Lowery, Roger Hie, Mike Smith, Trevor Atkinson, Michael Peconi and John Stergiou.
Races will be dedicated to those individuals with family and friends joining in the winner's circle to honour their lost loved ones.
Post time for the 10-race card is 7 p.m.
