On August 25, 2020, Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey Board member Sam Landy had the opportunity to ring the New York Stock Exchange’s opening bell.

Landy was helping celebrate a new Fannie Mae loan product for manufactured housing communities. Representatives from UMH Properties, Wells Fargo and Fannie Mae participated in the ceremony alongside Landy in commemoration of the first-of-its-kind loan.

Landy, who is the president and CEO of UMH Properties, also owns the New Jersey training centre Congress Hill, and he and his wife Laurie also lead 'Special Strides,' a nonprofit program helping individuals with special needs.

The SBOANJ would like to congratulate Landy on the momentous occasion and thank him for his commitment to the New Jersey racing program.
