Eli Beiler, Delaware Clint Crellin and Elam Esh’s Cinders Baby was the fastest of a trio of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund $20,000 divisions Tuesday at Harrington Raceway with a 1:57.1 win.
The Rockabillie filly completed a sweep of her divisions after her 1:59 win in round one on September 22. Trained by her driver, Cinders Baby improved to 2-for-2 lifetime with a front end win by five lengths over Hey Hey Dbay and Tobago Time.
Joining Cinders Baby ($2.10, Art Stafford, Jr.) with a sweep of her eliminations was Jo Ann Looney-King’s Stealing Bases ($4, Victor Kirby), who was a 1:58 winner over Uptown Lover and Rowdy One.
The daughter of Roddys Bags Again collared pacesetter Rowdy One near the three-quarters and won by a length. Trained by Jim King Jr., it was her third win in four lifetime starts. It was one of three wins on the card for Kirby.
The final division saw George Teague and MST Racing’s Adrianna ($3, Montrell Teague) a comfortable two-length winner over Roses And Orchids and Seboomook Beauty in 2:00. The Southwind Lynx filly scored her second career win in wire-to-wire fashion.
The top eight point earners from each division of DSBF action will return to compete in $100,000 final events on October 7.
Stafford, Jr. and Allan Davis each had driving doubles on the card.
