SC Rewind: Picture Parade

SC Rewind: Picture Parade
Published: September 26, 2026 10:15 am EDT

This week's Rewind is the regular monthly version of Picture Parade. This collection of old pictures is intended to rekindle some memories of days gone by and, for those who enjoy doing so, have a chance at naming the subjects in each vintage photo.

Drivers approaching milestones

List of drivers approaching career milestones in victories. This was issued by the U.S.T.A. in 1991 and covers both Canadian- and U.S.-based drivers.

This week's 'Picture Parade' takes on a slightly different format. Each of the individuals in this week's group of photos is also shown in the above list. Take a look and see if you can match them up. Here are your approximate odds. There are a little over 60 names on the list and 10 photographs listed. Each caption will be pretty much identical.

9. Who is it? I just saw him very recently driving in a race. His horse paced in 1:51 flat and he finished last! My, how things have changed.

No one has tried to answer number 5 yet. Those maple leaf images were nearly always a part of his family's racing silks. Not only this fellow, but also his other three driving brothers. Does that help?
