A son of the late stallion Brandons Cowboy fetched the highest price at the 2013 ASHA Yearling Sale.
The sale took place Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Megadome in Olds, Alta. Consigned by Meridian Farms, Jimbo Joe (Brandons Cowboy - Just Sassy) sold for $38,000 to Blair Corbeil and Kelly Hoerdt.
In a release, ASHA called the sale "very successful," with total sales of $351,000 and an average price of $10,027.
