Hearing On Delayed OSS Event

Trot Insider has learned that a hearing will take place today pertaining to the cancelled Ontario Sires Stakes Gold event from Monday, Sept. 19 at Grand River Raceway

The hearing, set for 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, would determine the status of Rebel Jet. That colt was scratched from the Gold elimination before the track was forced to cancel due to poor track conditions. It is expected that all colts will advance to a $170,000 final on Monday, Sept. 26 but whether Rebel Jet is allowed to race in that final is under review.

Well if he scratched BEFORE the race was cancelled then he shouldn't be allowed to race.
