Nanticoke Racing's LGs Reed O Wen ($2.80, Jim Morand) won his second straight race in 2:02.1 on Wednesday (Sept. 15) at Harrington Raceway in preparation for upcoming two-year-old Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) trotting stakes action.

The Anders Bluestone gelding assumed command from rough-gaited leader Wolfpack Russ, who broke stride, and opened up a six-length win in the $8,500 DSBF Eligible event for two-year-old trotters. Rivers (Corey Callahan) trotted well late to finish second while Spooky Punk (Victor Kirby) was third. Trained by Les Givens, LGs Reed O Wen improved to 2-for-3 in his career and will be one to watch in next Wednesday's (Sept. 22) DSBF $20,000 preliminary event.

DSBF action gets underway Monday (Sept. 20) with the pacing colts on Bobby Quillen Memorial Pace night, while the pacing fillies battle Tuesday.

Elizabeth and Bret Brittingham's Need Luck N ($9.20, Bret Brittingham) won the overnight feature ($3.60), an $11,000 conditioned trot, for trainer Don Brittingham. The same connections later teamed up for a win with Big Secret ($4.00).
