Kawartha Downs will be closing out its 2024 harness racing season on Friday, Sept. 13 with a Customer Appreciation Night.
Post time for the nine-race card of harness racing is 7 p.m. The evening will include live music and giveaways, including two 65" televisions.
The Fraserville, Ont. oval will also host a Wiener Dog Derby in support of the Peterborough Humane Society. Twenty Wiener Dogs will compete in two heats with the top three from each race moving on to the final to compete for the championship title.
All horsepeople are reminded to remove all race bikes and joggers following the last night of racing at Kawartha Downs.
