Will and Claire Flemings' 7,650 km cross country fundraising bike for Jumpstart will wrap up this Sunday at Clinton Raceway.
The brother and sister team from Londesboro Ont. finished the two-month trek in May, and will be on hand to say a few words of thanks to all those who generously donated to the over $40,000 total.
The two set out with a goal of raising $1 for each kilometre biked on the 7,650 km journey, little did they expect to be exceeding that by over $30,000.
Clinton Raceway is proud to host these two remarkable individuals as part of their family day activities this Sunday, August 10. Fans can meet Will and Claire for a photo with their bikes and pass on their congratulations. A representative from Jumpstart will be on site to say thank you as well. Canadian Tire Goderich has generously donated both a girls and boys bike, which will be raffled off during the days events. Tickets are just $1 each and all proceeds will be added to the fundraising total for Bike 7650.
Also included during the day will be a full card of live harness races, free hot dogs, face painting, bouncy castle a mascot race and more.
