The Stallion Series, a new series inaugurated by the Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission in 2009, will be making its initial appearance at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Saturday afternoon, August 8
.

Stallion Series races will be held the racing day before a Pennsylvania Sire Stakes race at a given track and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be hosting four such races Tuesday night, August 11 with purses of $64,000-plus.
Stallion Series races for two-year-old pacing fillies will be held on Saturday, August 15, followed by the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for the like on Tuesday, August 18.
