Legendary Announcer Roger ‘The Voice’ Huston will be at Dresden Raceway on Monday, August 7 for the track’s closing day.
Huston started his career in 1960 calling Ohio County Fairs and in 1965 started calling at the Red Mile.
Huston is best known for calling The Little Brown Jug in Delaware, Ohio and is the regular announcer at the Meadows.
Huston has announced almost 175,000 races at 138 different tracks that cover 17 states and seven countries.
The Hall of Famer will announce the first five races at Dresden Raceway and will then be signing autographs for the remainder of the day.
T-shirts will be available for $15 to commemorate Huston’s appearance.
Sunday will also feature free hot-buttered corn on the cob for patrons as well as many giveaways and draws.
Post time for the card will be 1:30 p.m.
