Itsrockandroll A scored his fourth straight win in the featured $20,000 Open at Harrington Raceway on Monday (Aug. 28) with Allan Davis in the bike for Elizabeth and Bret Brittingham.
Davis and the eight-year-old Rocknroll Dance gelding made every pole a winning one en route to the 1:53.3 victory. Tae finished second with Major Betts third.
Trained by Don Brittingham, Itsrockandroll A ($9.60) notched his seventh win of the season and upped his bankroll to $109,290 so far this year.
David Conlon earned his first driving win aboard Gold Train ($30.40) for owners George and Tina Dennis. The 23-year-old pilot steered the David Columbo trainee to a five-length achievement in 1:55.3.
On the undercard, Declan Seelster ($9.60) scored his eighth win of the year in 1:54 in a $45,000 claiming event. Ross Wolfenden was in the bike for P T Stable.
Tony Morgan had a hat trick on the evening card.
