A handicapping challenge took place at Kawartha Downs this past Saturday night (Aug. 24), and officials with the track have conveyed that it was an exciting night.
Customers that entered were given forms to write down the winners of races four through eight. Mythical two-dollar win and place wagers were placed during the challenge and it came down to the last race to decide the winner.
Bailey Woodroffe provided live music throughout the night and Andrew Horlick, the author of ‘The Endless Mile,’ was also on hand autographing his book.
The coming Saturday, the track will feature ‘Puttin For Prizes’ and live entertainment with Doug Horner.
