While James MacDonald made headlines for his talented work on the racetrack during the 2017 World Driving Championship, some exclusive video from PEI shows that his skills extend beyond the racebike.
Much to the delight of those in attendance, MacDonald was one of the individuals showing off some vocal range during open karaoke at the Thursday night kitchen party at the Eastlink Centre, singing Dust On The Bottle by David Lee Murphy.
MacDonald was also joined on stage later in the song by USA's Marcus Miller and New Zealand's Dexter Dunn.
The following night, MacDonald would made Canadian harness racing history by winning the 2017 World Driving Championship. He's the first Canadian-born driver to win the coveted title on home soil.
Trot Insider will conclude the video blog series with MacDonald on Wednesday.
