New Jersey Scholarship Recipients Named

This year, four children of New Jersey horsemen were awarded scholarships from the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey and The Backstretch Community Assistance Program of New Jersey.  

All four students will be attending college this fall. The scholarship recipients are Emma Krouse, who will attending Drew University; Karly Warner, who will be attending the University of Albany; Kristina Verruso, who will be attending Queens College; and Jaiden Gingras, who will be attending the University of Kentucky.  

The scholarship amounts range from $2,500 to $5,000.
