A pair of drivers and horses were involved in an accident during the Sunday finale at Clinton Raceway, but managed to escape serious injuries.

In the 12th and final race at Clinton, both Cam From The West, driven by Dustin McClure, and Carlynda Hanover, driven by Scott Zeron, fell to the track.

Both horses and drivers only received minor cuts and bruises. Zeron was taken to Clinton Public Hospital as a precautionary measure, and has since been released.

Cam from the west did recieve a number of scrapes from the accident but her hollering back at home for her supper was a good indicator that she will be fine.
Good job by my driver Dustin McClure who rushed to her side holding her down while we got her equipment off. Thanks also to the others who were right there lending a hand.
