Schooner continued his current win streak on Sunday afternoon at Inverness Raceway and notched his 50th career victory in the featured Winners Over Pace.
The seven-year-old pacer's milestone victory came in the afternoon's $1,250 featured finale as he swept up from third-place to overtake leader Future Million at the third quarter mark of the race and then held off Oppies Artist by half a length in 1:59. Vital Art finished third.
Schooner has been perfect in four starts this season racing in the top class at Inverness.
Alex MacQuarrie drives the son of American Ideal for local trainer and owner Anthony Beaton.
