Is it just a coincidence that a horse named Peopleton Brook is the latest member of the equine world to face a human in a head-to-head dash?
The eight-year-old horse recently squared off against a 37-year-old runner named Jamie Baulch at Kempton Park in England.
Baulch, a Welsh sprinter, was given a head start in the sprint. The dash was contested to raise money for an injured jockeys' fund and a kids' charity.
