Spill In Finale At CDPEC

Two horses fell in an accident that occurred in the twelfth race on Sunday afternoon at the Charlottetown Driving

Park Entertainment Centre.

The accident took place in the late stages of the mile as a result of Mr Maddison County (Ken Murphy) hitting a wheel while sitting sixth on the rail. According the chartline, Now Whos Laughing (Vince Poulton) and Boneires Bubba (Terry Gallant) were interfered with and fell.

"Drivers and horses walked away under their power," said Lee Drake, HRPEI's Director of Marketing & Media Relations.
