Fashion Terror charged down the lane and reached up to score a 22-1 upset in the $20,714 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace at Tioga Downs on Friday, July 3.

Aint She Pretty (Ridge Warren) controlled the early fractions, first to the quarter in :27.4 and half in :56.3.  She cruised to three quarters in 1:23.3 with Glittering Hope (Kyle Swift) first-over just off her wheel and Fashion Terror locked in the three-hole. Pocket-sitter Elegant A (Colin Kelly) slipped out coming off the last turn and bore down on Aint She Pretty in the stretch, with Fashion Terror desperate for room behind those two. She found a seam in the final metres and unleashed her pace to nab Elegant A by a neck in 1:52.1. Aint She Pretty was passed by both foes late and finished third.

Fashion Terror, a four-year-old daughter of Huntsville-High Fashion Model, stepped up to the Open level after back-to-back conditioned wins. The Mark Ford trainee is now six-for-18 in 2026 for All Star Racing Inc. and has won 17 of 41 lifetime outings. She paid $47.66 to win.

Two trainers, Brittany Clarke and Kasey Westbrook, earned their first career wins during the 15-race program. The former had Ima Happy Fella Gb ($11.60), making his first start for the conditioner in a 1:51.4 victory in the third race with Ridge Warren in the bike. The nine-year-old son of Rogue Hall-Happy Daisy is owned by William Emmons. Clarke, an Edmonton, Alta. native, took her first win in her 25th start. The resident of Harveys Lake, Pa. made her debut in 2019.

Silly Choice ($11.82) circled the field from fifth uncovered to win the 14th race for driver Daniel Harvey in 1:54.1, giving Westbrook her first victory. She owns and trains Silly Choice, a five-year-old daughter of Courtly Choice-American Tail. Westbrook, of Bath, N.Y., recorded five starts from 2009 to 2011 and returned in June 2026 with Silly Choice. She now holds a record of 8-1-1-1.

Ridge Warren had a driving gland slam, reaching the winner's circle with Hc Commander ($18.06), Ima Happy Fella Gb, Woodmere Harriet ($4.42) and Mickie Mantle ($6.48).

Live racing continues at  Tioga Downs on Saturday, July 4 starting at 6:15 p.m. Fireworks will follow live racing.
