Shake It Cerry's Brother Wins Debut

Five divisions of the Pennsylvania All-Stars for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings were held at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on a perfect Friday, July 4th summer night. The track was listed as fast.

Trainer/driver Jimmy Takter had wins in two divisions -- the first division with Dan Patch Award winner Shake It Cerry's debuting brother Uncle Lasse (Donato Hanover–Solveig) in 1:57 flat and the fourth division with The Bank (Donato Hanover–Lantern Kronos), who posted the fastest time of all divisions in 1:56.3.

Other winners were: Broadway Appolo (Broadway Hall–Raising Rachel), driven by Corey Callahan and trained by Jim Campbell, in the second division in 1:58.3; Billy Flynn (Cantab Hall–Zeta Jones), driven by Brett Miller and trained by Stefan Lind, in the third division in 1:57.2; and Gifted Way (Cantab Hall–Rare Gift), driven by Scott Zeron for trainer Tony Alagna, in the final division in the 1:57.3.

The PA All-Stars continue on Saturday night with four divisions for three-year-old pacing fillies and three divisions for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings. Post time is 6:30 p.m.
