The Ontario Racing Commission has imposed an indefinite suspendion on veteran horseman Kevin Wallis as of Saturday, July 3 following a recent suspension handed down to the reinsman by the Michigan Racing Commission
.
Wallis, a career winner of 9,071 races and purses in excess of $42 million, was taken off eight scheduled drives at Hiawatha Horse Park on Saturday evening and a pair of horses trained by his wife, Linda, were also scratched.
Wallis has been associated with a number of top performers over the course of his career including O'Brien Award winner Burning Point (1:49.2 - $3,067,944).

But I do agree the punters never get the info a lot of times on what goes on and we are the ones who support this business basically.

Suspended for what exactly? Again, another case where we do not get all the facts. Much like the story on the previous Race Secretary at Windsor Raceway. You report he was suspended, but the reason, never given, despite numerous requests. Is it some sort of national secret? Or is it just the dirt on some people and not on others? If you are going to run these stories, please give us all the particulars. I could sign this a disgruntled fan, tired of reading between the lines.
How long before more "big"
How long before more "big" names from Windsor, Sarnia and Dresden are included in this? I realize that the focus is currently on the Michigan tracks, but ...... ?
