The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey has announced that this year’s Caretaker of the Meet at the Meadowlands Racetrack is Natalie Svensson.
Svensson was nominated by her employer, Henrik Lundell. His reasons for nominating her were simple. "She's worked for me for five years and never missed a day. She's always reliable and gives 100 per cent to each horse, we couldn't do it without her," he said
As this year’s Caretaker of the Meet, Svensson will receive a $200 visa gift card, a $150 Joe’s Kitchen gift card, dinner at ‘Pink’ for her and her family, and a plaque of recognition at the Meadowlands on August 5.
