Standardbred Canada is pleased to present the second part of a special one-on-one interview with Hall of Famer Ron Waples, who recently participated in an Ask Me Anything session with fans of harness racing.

Love these questions and answers. There should be more! Ronnie as humble as ever. One of the best was when he was interviewed after No Sex Please won the Maple Leaf Trot, they asked where does he go next? And of course Ronnie with his quick wit replied, "I don't know but I hope they take me along." Classic!

This is for Ron Waples to answer. He drove many great horses ie: Ralph Hanover but I would like to know what he thought of a horse named Jonny A Heritage.

Ronnie flew to Greenwood to
Ronnie flew to Greenwood to drive a horse in a stake race and he heard my dad, Mac, was in the Clubhouse and he knew he had been sick. He won and changed clothes and took time to hurry up to the Clubhouse to see my dad and wish him well. He then had to hurry to catch a plane back to the Meadowlands. Do you think that was a Class act for him to do? I do, and have never forgot it and still carry Ron Waples autographed Harness Hero card in my wallet.
