Trot Insider has learned that pacing colt Mach It Big has been scratched from tonight's Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Final at Mohawk Racetrack.

Trainer Carl Jamieson told Trot Insider that the unbeaten freshman son of Mach Three - Belinda Hanover spiked a temperature of 103 degrees this morning. Jamieson will also be scratching Mister Herbie from his OSS Grassroots assignment at Hiawatha Horse Park.

Last week, driver Rick Zeron guided Mach It Big to his second straight win, a 1:53 elimination score over favoured Mystician.

Jamieson co-owns Mach It Big, a $42,000 Canadian Open yearling purchase, with Toronto's Tom Kyron.

Watermelonwine, the first also eligible, will draw into tonight's $130,000 Gold Final. Click here for entries.
