Pepsi North America Cup winner Well Said has won on the lead and from off the pace, but in an article by The Star-Ledger trainer Steve Elliott has stated what he thinks his colt's best trip scenario is

.

"He's better with a trip," Elliott was quoted as saying. "Anytime you get a trip he can pace home with anybody."

The three-year-old son of Western Hanover showed the world he could rocket from off the pace when he won the 'Cup' in a Canadian record 1:48.1. He also showed fans that he could pace with anyone when he out dueled Art Colony last weekend in their elimination for Saturday's $1 million Meadowlands Pace

From 17 career starts, Well Said has compiled a record of 8-4-1 and banked $1,414,627 in purses. Well Said has been installed as the 6-5 morning line favourite for the 'Pace,' which has been carded as Race 9 on the Meadowlands Racetrack's Saturday, July 18 program.
