If you’re a fan of Ontario racing and don’t want to commute out of the province this summer to hear ‘The Voice,’ well, you’re in luck.

Trot Insider has learned that Roger Huston, the veteran announcer that calls The Meadows home, will be making a trek to Ontario in just a few weeks.

Officials with the Hiawatha Horse Park have informed Trot Insider that Huston will be calling the races at the Sarnia oval on Saturday, August 6.

The voice of the Little Brown Jug will join several drivers on August 6 for a meet and greet before the races. The Saturday program will also be a ‘Toonie Night’ at the track. There are several other events planned for the card.

If you would like to hear Huston call the races, but won’t be able to make it out to Sarnia, he will also be serenading the crowd the following day (Sunday, August 7) at Leamington Raceway for the opening card of that meet.
