Driver Kyle Mason and the Ultimate Stable’s pride and joy, Woodmere Ideal Art, will look to get back on track Saturday at Exhibition Park Raceway in the afternoons top class.

Mason had the seven-year-old firing off the gate in his first start of the 2022 campaign, and was parked out early before fading to sixth in the stretch.

Woodmere Ideal Art has been a model of consistency throughout his career in the Maritimes and sports a lifetime mark of 1:54.4.  The 29-time winner has banked close to $96,000 in career earnings.

He will have the outside post five to contend with as he faces four other tough rivals including the Gary Smith Memorial series champion, Bugger Max, and driver Mark Haig. Dale Orr and Gordon White own the pacer who will have post three to work with.

Frontier Cruise, an early standout at Exhibition Park Raceway, will have John Davidson on board for the father/son connection of Jean R. and Jean C. Belliveau of Moncton. Todd Trites will have Ubettimagoodone for trainer George Rennison.

Rounding out the group in the $2,500 feature is Father Ofthe Year for Dr. Mitchell Downey and driver Mike Downey. Post time for Saturday's race card is at 1:00 p.m. with a total of five dashes.
