Yonkers Raceway's soggy 10-race, Thursday night card saw driver George Brennan win eight races, while trainer Lou Pena won seven

.

After neither had a player in the opener, they combined to win the next four races. Ringside Lauryn ($2.60), despite an early break, won the $14,000, second-race trot (2:06.2 for the mile-and-one-sixteenth), then BCs Jesse ($3.80) won the $10,000, third-race pace (added-distance 2:02.4). Im A Sakra ($4.80) won the $18,000, fourth-race trot (added-distance 2:05) before Lightning Moon ($5.20) won the $17,000, fifth-race pace (added-distance 1:59.4).

The driver-trainer tandem wound up fourth at even-money in the sixth race, then returned with Jimmy The Terror ($2.70) in the $14,000, seventh-race pace (added-distance 2:02). It was more of the same in the $17,000, eighth-race pace as DVC Gifted Indeed ($2.70) made short work in an added-distance 2:00.4.

Brennan won the $19,000, ninth-race pace with Non Commital A ($3.30) for trainer Shawn Barker in an added-distance 2:01.2 before he, Pena and Lightning Dragon ($3) combined in the $18,000, pacing finale (added-distance 2:01.3).

Common guys. The only conclusion is hes the best trainer on the planet.:}

Joe your 100% Correct...

Come to Yonkers where "Nobody beats Lou".. Drop one in the box against LOU and race for 2nd place money.

coming from a trainer with a .447 average I guess this shouldn't surprise me, however it seems that there is an abundance of high pct. trainers out there--- is this todays norm or perhaps should we just look for the " day after " experience for our answers!!!!!
