Officials with the Ontario Standardbred Show Series have provided Trot Insider with some information regarding its first event of the 2016 series, which will take place this weekend.
The season will kick off this coming Sunday (June 12) at the Orono Fairgrounds. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The classes will include dressage, halter, jumping driving, western, games, costume and lead line.
The organization currently has an auction on its Facebook page for some Blue Jays tickets and will have a silent auction the day of the show, which will include some unique gifts.
The group is inviting everyone to come out and show some support to the horses and riders.
The organization has said that it always has the support of the racing community behind them, but, just like racing, they need fans. So come on out, cheer loudly and enjoy the day.
