Having no clear idea how many racehorses remain in Quebec following the collapse of racetrack operator Attractions Hippiques, the Quebec Jockey Club has put out a
call for owners to let them know by filling out a small questionnaire.
Among other things, it asks whether the owners plan to race the horse in regional-circuit races or at Hippodrome de Quebec this year.
The first of 16 scheduled programs in the province in 2010 is a regional-circuit event due to be held at St. Hugues on June 27.
The form is available on the Quebec Jockey Club website (www.clubjockeyduquebec.com) and transmissible by internet or fax.
