There were no changes in the sixth edition of Dave Little's Road to the Meadowlands Pace poll, but with six of the horses in action this coming Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park in North America Cup eliminations, there figure to be in the next installment of the weekly Top 10.
U.S. divisional champion Louprint maintains the top spot in the Road to the Meadowlands Pace rankings. The Sweet Lou-Rockin Racer colt, who is three-for-three in Pennsylvania Sire Stakes action to start his sophomore campaign, took the week off.
It’s go time for the horse with the target on his back, as the eliminations for the North America Cup are this Saturday. He’s in the third elimination and departs from post six.
“He’s ready to go and as good as he can be," said trainer Ron Burke. "I trust the horse. He doesn’t really have a flaw. He’s just a well-rounded horse.”
