It has been reported that a punter in the United Kingdom who has chosen to remain anonymous won a £1-million windfall on an exotic horse racing wager last week.

According to an article by the Basingstoke Gazette, the handicapper, who works in the finance industry, plunked down £5,400 and nailed a six-race ‘Lucky 63’ exotic wager.

The report states that he was at the track (Sandown) and was able to watch his miracle bet come in. The article states that the punter was ‘dumbstruck’ when he realized he won the £1 million. The man reportedly then toasted the win with champagne before heading off to a local pub to celebrate with friends.
