Southwind Tempo's reign in the Betsy Ross at Harrah's Chester will come to an end on July 4. But despite her absence from the field, there's no shortage of talent among the eight distaff pacers assembled by racing secretary Rick Kane for Sunday's $100,000 event

A pair of millionaires in Tug River Princess and Chancey Lady headline the entries for this year's renewal of the Betsy Ross. Tug River Princess is a winner of 25 races in her career, including the 2008 Valley Forge at Chester in a track record 1:50.2. She has banked over $1.4 million in her career, and trainer Jeffrey Webster has listed Hall of Fame driver John Campbell. Chancey Lady is the other millionaire in the field, also with 25 wins to her name. Her lifetime mark of 1:49.4 was taken earlier this season at the Meadowlands, and she finished second in the Artiscape at Tioga to Dreamfair Eternal. Mark Kesmodel has listed George Brennan to drive Chancey Lady, also a winner of over $1.4 million.
Chester mainstay Cuz She Can comes off her most successful spring yet, winning seven of 14 races this season, including four of the last six Mares Open Paces at Chester. Ron Pierce is named to drive for trainer Ron Burke. On The Glass is the other Burke trainee to make the field, taking her 1:49 lifetime mark in a Mares Invitational at the Meadowlands in May. Yannick Gingras is listed to drive.
