Goodtogo Hanover fought off Synonymous Hanover in a two-horse breakaway to keep her undefeated sophomore record in tact during Wednesday's Pennsylvania Stallion Series for trotting fillies at Harrah's Philadelphia.

Paired with David Miller for the first time in her career in one of the five $20,000 divisions, Goodtogo Hanover crossed to command from the outside post seven during a 29-second opening quarter and cruised to the half in :59.4 before coming under attack. Synonymous Hanover began to advance first over from the backfield and applied pressure to the favoured filly as they raced to three-quarters in 1:27.4. In a two-horse breakaway, those fillies battled head-to-head into the stretch, with Goodtogo Hanover ultimately prevailing by a neck in 1:57 flat. Ki Ki Canolli rounded out the top-three finish order 11 lengths behind.

Trainer Bill Zendt and Gary Saul co-own the Explosive Matter-Grammy Hall filly, who is now nine-for-nine with earnings climbing to $92,925 for her perfect sophomore campaign.

Driver Andy Miller and trainer Erv Miller teamed up for a pair of Stallion Series victories with Alvarez (1:57) and Maker A Yankee (1:57.1).

Side Bet Hanover was the fastest division winner going wire-to-wire in 1:55.4 for driver Corey Callahan and trainer Jonas Czernyson while Lisa Dunn's Glidinthruparadise and Yannick Gingras won the other division in 1:56.4.
