Wearing the colours of his Hall Of Fame great-uncle Harry Poulton, Brett Clow notched the first driving win of his career with Bold N Bad on the Tuesday evening (June 27) card at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

Clow, the 18-year-old New Haven rookie, hustled favourite Bold N Bad to the front in Race 3 of the program and never looked back through splits of :29, 1:00 and 1:30.3 to stop the clock in 2:00.2 for a six-length decision. His mother, Deanna Clow, owns and trains the eight-year-old son of Badlands Hanover, who notched win number 11 of his 84-race career.

Spicey P captured the $3,200 featured pace in 1:56.1 over Sauble Attack (driven by Dale Spence) and Soccer Hanover (Corey MacPherson). Jason Hughes trains and drives the winning pacer for owner Robi Hughes of Stratford, P.E.I.

MacPherson scored a driving triple on the card, winning the opener with Dusty Lane Zendaya for trainer Alexis Gass in 1:58.4, then Race 2 with Dizzy Miss Lizzy in 2:02.4 for trainer Ron Gass. In the finale, MacPherson steered Frontier Cruise to victory for the Belliveau family of New Brunswick, stopping the clock in 1:56.2.

David Dowling had the hot hands on the evening with a grand slam courtesy of King Of Kensington (2:00.4) for Jared Perrot, Hunger Pangs (1:57.4) for trainer Blaine McKenna, Rock The Baby (1:57.4) for trainer Earl Watts and Southfield Sandy (2:00.2) from his own barn.
