The Woodbine Entertainment Group today issued a release regarding its feeling on the announcement of COSA, the newly formed Central Ontario

Standardbred Association.

The WEG release appears below in its entirety.

WEG Encouraged By Formation Of COSA

Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) is encouraged by the announcement regarding the formation of the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA). Under the leadership of COSA President Bill O'Donnell, WEG is impressed by how representative the inaugural Board of Directors is of the broad spectrum of horsepeople that race at WEG's tracks.

It has always been WEG's preference to partner with an association of horsepeople that race at our tracks and share a similar vision for honest and high quality horse racing.

WEG looks forward to discussions with COSA with a view to entering into a contractual relationship.

WEG philosophy appears to be divide and defeat. If they get their way then every track could have there own representative association BOY how disjointed will us horsepeople be then.
