Former President of the United States Bill Clinton discussed his background and history with horse racing when he visited the Meadowlands Racetrack

on Friday, June 1.

Clinton, a friend of track operator Jeff Gural, was the special guest at a dinner held to support the re-election of United States Senator for New Jersey Robert Menendez at the Meadowlands’ Pegasus Restaurant. He shared his fondness for racing and assessed the field for the upcoming Belmont Stakes in a surprise interview with announcer Sam McKee that was facilitated by track operator Jeff Gural.

The final leg of thoroughbred racing's Triple Crown takes place Saturday, June 9.
