Demolition of Windsor Raceway is still underway after having been initiated in late April. New photos of the progress have emerged and are available here.
The current photos of the demo process come courtesy of windsorite.ca, which features an 11-photo gallery of the most recent progress.
Earlier this month, Ontario Harness Horse Association General Manager Brian Tropea commented on the grandstand demolition process. He said that it was “a sad day” when the grandstand demolition began, and that “if there had been any hope of horse racing there again, that’s been taken off the menu now.”
