My Cousin Eileen poured it on first over and drew off late to capture Thursday’s feature at The Meadows, a $9,800 conditioned trot.
The 6-5 favourite, My Cousin Eileen was third when Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. tipped her off the cones. The four-year-old daughter of Uncle Peter-Renees Pockets gobbled up the leaders and romped home in 1:54.4, fastest win of her career. Upfront Stone was second, 4-1/2 lengths back, while 62-1 long shot Mr Cornbread rallied for show.
