Ty Robillard earned his first career training win on Thursday, May 9 at Rideau Carleton Raceway with Allstar Ballerina in a $5,600 conditioned distaff pace.
Guy Gagnon and Allstar Ballerina made every pole a winning one through panels in :28.4, :59.1 and 1:28.3 before crossing the wire 1-1/4 lengths the best in 1:59. Bestgirl In Town (Melanie Plourde) finished second with Tia (Stephane Brosseau) third.
Robillard owns the sophomore Jimmy Freight-Whisper Well filly with Santo Barilla. In addition to Robillard's career training milestone, Allstar Ballerina achieved her own milestone career first win in 10 attempts. She paid $7.50 to win as the 3-1 second choice.
