Trainer Tyler George recorded a milestone victory to kick off the Thursday, May 7 program at Hoosier Park, taking career win number 2,000 with Keayang Taco A.
Leaving from post two as the 1-5 wagering favourite, Keayang Taco A settled into third for Trace Tetrick while Gallant Attribute (Travis Seekman) took command through a :26.2 first quarter. Keayang Taco A brushed to the top on the backstretch, reaching the half in :55.2 before pacing to three-quarters in 1:24.1. Remaining strong on the front end, Keayang Taco A fended off a host of challengers in the stretch to reach the wire first by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:52. Tells Super Star (Kyle Husted) closed for second over Gallant Attribute. The winning six-year-old son of Sweet Lou-Keayang Torah is owned by Castaldo Racing Stable, TG Stable LLC and Thunder Racing Stables Inc.
George has been the leading trainer at Hoosier Park for the last six years and set a record for the most training victories at the track in a season last year with 165. The 41-year-old conditioner had a career-best season in 2025, winning 201 races overall and banking $3.9 million in earnings. He now has 2,000 lifetime victories in 7,297 starts and $23.2 million in earnings.
Live racing will continue at Hoosier on Friday with a 14-race program set to get underway at 5:30 p.m. The card features $10,000 guarantees in the Late Pick 4 (Races 11-14) and Late High 5 (Race 14), offered each Friday in partnership with the USTA's Strategic Wagering Program.
