Stoneridge completed a hat trick for driver Frank Coppola Jr. during Thursday’s 10-race card at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
The Harvey Stein-trained daughter of Cash Hall was dismissed at odds of 31-1 in the $9,950 co-feature for New York Sired trotters despite the fact that she won in the same class in her previous local start in April.
The four-year-old dominated her rivals after getting a first-over journey before drawing away to win by almost seven lengths in a career best 1:58.3. Stoneridge led the biggest exacta of the season to date at the Spa as fellow longshot Meshugana Miss (Bruce Aldrich, Jr.) finished second to comprise an exacta that paid $2,898.
Coppola piloted all three of his Thursday winners to new lifetime marks as he scored with pacers Think Bigger in 1:55.3 and Captain American in 1:55.2.
