The TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable Contest is now offering the chance to win even greater prizes than ever before.
As the month of May begins, don’t forget to sign up for the 12th annual TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable Contest. Enter for free (online or by mail) and play along all year. Online entries can be made below.
Thanks, in large part to our co-sponsors, The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown and OnGait.com, TROT Magazine is now able to offer the top three finishers prizes totalling the highest value in the history of the contest.
Contest entries remain open, and you have until 5 p.m. (EDT) on May 23 to make your selections. Once your stable is submitted, you cannot make any changes.
Select a stable compiled of 22 top trainers, drivers and horses -- including two-year-olds -- from all over North America, and follow along all year. The contest is based on total earnings (in CAD) of selected horses, and five per cent of the earnings of selected trainers and drivers between May 23, 2025 and Dec. 31, 2025.
Once again this year, for the purposes of the fantasy bankroll, the winners (horses only) of the 2025 Breeders Crown finals, to be contested at Woodbine Mohawk Park, will each receive a $200,000 contest bankroll bonus. New this year though, there will also be a $200,000 bankroll bonus to stables who have the winner of the 2025 Hambletonian — the 100th edition of this historic race.
At the end of the year, the first three finishers (based on total earnings) will be awarded prizes in the amount of $1,000 CAD for first place, $500 CAD for second place and $250 CAD for third place, as well as the same amount (in USD credit) on OnGait.com. (OnGait credit is transferable).
Standardbred Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize or portion of a prize with equivalent monetary value, if a prize or any part of the prize, cannot be awarded as described for any reason.
Remember to sign up by May 23 and TROT wishes you all the best of luck!
