Hoosier Cruiser paced a final half-mile in :55.2 to hit the wire 18-1/2 lengths ahead of her rivals in Thursday’s first race at Scioto Downs. A three-year-old daughter of Yankee Cruiser, Hoosier Cruiser won her first race of the year in 1:53.2 for Holl Investment Co., trainer David Myers, and driver Chris Page.

That race kicked off an evening of speed at Scioto as divisions of the Steam Demon series for pacers went to Crime Scene Cruzer (1:56.2) and Special D (1:56.4). Both winners were steered by Page.

These were three of the six winning drivers by Chris Page, leading driver at Scioto this season.

In the B F Coaltown series for trotters, the impressive Aloha Hooray scored in 1:57 for driver Ryan Stahl while Dont Know Chip was a winner in 2:00.3 for Jim Dailey. Both are sons of Chip Chip Hooray.
