Pedigree Snob, winner of last year’s Sweetheart and one of the top freshman pacing fillies of the season, won her second qualifier today in 1:53.3 at Scioto Downs
.
Trained and driven by Sam “Chip” Noble, the daughter of Allamerican Native went to the front at the start and paced through fractions of :27.1, :56.3, and 1:25.2. Her winning margin was 27-1/2 lengths over Bosphorous Hanover (The Panderosa).
Last year Pedigree Snob won five of her nine starts and finished second three times. She took her 1:51.4 mark winning the Sweetheart and finished the season with $384,571 in the bank. She is owned by breeder Steve Jones and David Scharf.
